We have just been awarded a grant which will allow us to refurbish our kitchen. Boy does it need it! Watch this space for more developments.

We now have a functioning toilet for the disabled although the gents and ladies are still under construction....

Church Day Out - Bowling

Our Church Day out was either going to be Banger Racing or Bowling and based on the lovely bank holiday weather, we opted for the indoor choice. Fierce competition followed with the youngest bowler (4) scoring the highest (118) beating the oldest player (x) by just one point.

Family Service

Our first official family service took place on October 10th and we celebrated Harvest. The Puppets made their debut and everyone learned about how unfair the world is (the minority rich having 80% of the loaf).

Visitor's Sunday

The visitor's Sunday was held on 13th September and very well attended. Mr Rowe spoke from Psalm 34 "O Taste and See that The Lord is Good". At the end of the service, Maureen had a chance to taste and see as she was surprised with a birthday cake.

The Church Barbecue took place on Saturday 15th August in glorious weather. Lots of folk from Gardenia Court joined us along with a few passers by. We had a great time.

Songs of Praise

The 50+ club Songs of Praise took place on Sunday and was a roaring success. Group singing and solo performances made for a wonderful afternoon.
